Our Story

The story of The Doodle Booth started with friendship, love, and a little last-minute time crunch to provide for a friend.

One of my best friends was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2026. We had met at my corporate job and the whole team was putting together a fundraiser to help support her and raise money for it. I was asked to be a vendor and the goal was that I would sell art and some crafts. I really wanted to show up with prints, artwork, handmade pieces, and all the cute little things I had pictured in my head but unfortunately at the time, life was a lot. I didn’t really have the money, time, or resources to make everything I originally wanted to bring.

So I had to get creative!

That’s when I came up with The Doodle Booth — kind of like a photo booth, except instead of taking your picture, I draw you. It gave guests something interactive to do, helped raise money for someone I love, and made the day feel even more special.

The first time I ever brought The Doodle Booth out was at my best friend’s fundraiser, and I honestly had no idea what to expect. It ended up being an absolute hit. I drew over 25 people in such a short amount of time, and seeing everyone smile, laugh, and hold up their little doodles made my heart so happy. But the part I’ll never forget was getting to see one of my best friend that day sit across from me in the booth. I got draw her and capture how beautiful she looked (in doodle form). That moment will always be one of my favorite memories and showed me how worth those smiles and reactions are.

Ever since then, The Doodle Booth has had such a special place in my heart. What started as a quick little idea has grown into one of the sweetest parts of my business.

I love how far it’s come. I love how much joy it brings people. And I love that something created out of love for a friend has turned into something colorful, happy, and full of little moments that people get to keep.
